Awesome Aprons

Aprons, in my opinion, are so cute and back in style. I wish I could find dresses that are as cute as some of the aprons I've found online. Actually, I might start a new trend... would it be tacky to wear aprons as an article of clothing, like over another sweater or dress? I can see it being the next big thing... wearing aprons outside of the kitchen.

Well, in case that's a bad idea, I'll still wear them in the kitchen. I started collecting them about a year or two ago. I try to wear them when I cook so I can at least feel good about myself while making a mess in the kitchen. I've found some reasonable ones at Marshall's, Pier One, antique stores and even got a few from my grandmama last year. But here are some really pretty ones I've found on Anthropology's website. They are a little pricier than some of my other ones, but I'd definitely buy one. Here are my favorites... perfect for any season!

Vintage Christmas!

T
his year, I am inspired by Vintage Christmas decorations, or at least the new comebacks you can find in TJ Max, Marshall's, HomeGoods and even K-Mart. I did get a few of my late grandmama's old ornaments and they really made me want to do a vintage Christmas tree one year. I don't know how Drew would go for it though, considering our rustic themed tree is pretty awesome with a nice mix of feminine and masculine ornaments and decorations. Maybe if I have a little girl, I will pull out my pink ornaments and bye some new ones to put a color, vintage tree in her room. One day!

Here are some great pictures for any of you who might want to try decorating with more colors and vintage appeal this year!

Thanksgiving was FULL-filling

I
hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving. Ours was great. It was a little rough on the stomach though since we had THREE dinners to attend that day! I'm just blessed that we have so much family in town to visit on Thanksgiving. We'll be doing it again in just a few short weeks for Christmas! Can anyone believe that it's already December 1st??!! Counting down the days...
